Confusion

If I never left this room,
The guilt would never face me.
I could simply wonder through these streets,
The streets I’ve burned onto my mind.
It would be an easy life to lead,
A life for the blind,
With no sense of real time
I suppose.
If I never left this room,
My thoughts would only surely, continue to loom?
Though if I opened this door,
Would my demons be waiting on the floor?
