Twenty

I stopped wearing makeup

at the age

of twenty,

I lost the energy

to try and look good.

I stopped caring

at the age

of twenty,

I lost all my friends

and seemed unphased

by this.

I fell in love

at nineteen,

fell out of love

at twenty,

I thought he was

the spirit I hungered for,

only I devoured him

too quick.
